Our Jordan made its debut at the 1998 Australian Grand Prix. Later that year, Jordan drivers Damon Hill and Ralf Schumacher placed 1st and 2nd at the Belgian Grand Prix in what was Jordan's first Grand Prix win. This was closely followed by Heinz Harald Frentzen's two victories in 1999, leading to Jordan's highest ever Constructor's Championship placing of third that season.
Included: Arrival refreshments and time to be introduced to the event staff and mechanical crew. Race suits, racing shoes, balaclavas, gloves and helmet fitting. Comprehensive safety briefing, simulator training and practice laps in a single-seater supercharged Reynards Racing Car, manufactured for the feeder of the US Champ Car Series. These open-wheeled beauties were designed for the high speed oval race tracks of the USA, hence the emphasis on speed and stability. Power/weight: 450 bhp per tonne. On-going support from our experienced pit crew. Driving time for an estimated one hour, which is split into several sessions.
Then... when you feel it is time to be empowered and learn to fly, we move on to the
JORDAN F1. It will accelerate, brake and corner at speeds that seem to defy all logic. It is the ultimate drive available in S.A. and will eclipse anything else you will ever experience. By the end of your session, you will be able to claim to have tamed one of the most revered and feared race cars ever built. We throw in a CD of the day's images, in-car video so you and your friends can see exactly how you drove on the day and the bragging rights are for free.
